Introducing Maui Kuʻia Estate Chocolate
In celebration of National Chocolate Day, we are introducing Maui Kuʻia Estate Chocolate at the winery. Shop these locally made, high-quality chocolates in our boutique, or enjoy a bar with a pour of Lehua Raspberry Wine when seated in the tasting room.
The focus of Maui Kuʻia Estate Chocolate is to create some of the highest quality chocolate in the world while also emphasizing the importance of our intimate island community. 100% of Kuʻia’s net profits are donated to locally-based nonprofit organizations.
We are selling Dark Chocolate, Dark Milk Chocolate with Peppermint, and Dark Milk Chocolate with Maui Coffee.
The semi-sweet 65% dark chocolate is made from heirloom cacao cultivated on a single estate in the Esmeraldas province of Ecuador. This chocolate is made in European style with ample cocoa butter and a silky texture. It has a rich cocoa base, subtle fruit and floral aromas, no bitterness, and a clean lingering finish.
Lehua is decadent, pure, juicy, and has a long-lasting finish. Remaining simple in composition and yet meticulous in the process are the keys to creating this wine. Hand-picked raspberries, Haleakala rainwater, pure cane sugar, and grape neutral spirits are the only ingredients that go into making this flavorful wine. Pair Lehua with Maui Kuʻia 65% Dark Chocolate from Esmeraldas, Ecuador.
MauiWine is open Thursday-Sunday, 11 am-5 pm. Reservations are required and can be made online or by calling 808.878.6058.
