There is a feeling of mystery and romance in Ulupalakua. We invite you to experience this historic estate through a semi-private, personalized, 2-hour seated tasting. Sit back and sip as we talk story about the history of Rose Ranch (now MauiWine) and how we grow grapes on the island of Maui. As you relax comfortably in the semi-private garden area, you’ll be surrounded by trees over 150 years old and remnants of Catherine Makee’s gardens from the 1860s. This tasting features wines from our Estate vineyard, Ulupalakua Vineyard AVA, and Sparkling Wine made using the traditional method.
$300 for 2 guests includes an exclusive hosted tasting, an outdoor semi-private space, and Adirondack chairs. Sparkling toast upon arrival, custom tasting flight comprised of 5 wines (4 oz pour each) to share, a large gourmet grazing board, and a pour of Lehua Raspberry Dessert Wine paired with Hawaii chocolate.
This is not a walking tour of our production area or vineyard. This experience is crafted to honor Ulupalakua’s history and spirit of hospitality. Relax and immerse yourself in the scenery.
